1. definition of organization and management

ORGANIZATION -A systematic grouping of people brought together to accomplish some specific purpose.  -Every organization has a purpose;  -Each organization is composed of people.

-          There is a structure that defines the various roles of members and that often sets limits on members' work behaviors.

-          These people need someone/group to motivate, direct, and create  a conducive environment to work efficiently and productivity-called Managers…through a process called Management

 MANAGEMENT

Ø   A process of getting the work or the task done  to achieving the goals of an organization in an efficient and effective manner.

Ø  It is how businesses organize and direct workflow, operations, and employees to meet company goals.

Ø   A process of overseeing and organizing a team to deliver organizational goals

Thus, management provides leadership to the organization. Without able managers and effective managerial leadership the resources of production (material, labour, capital etc) remain merely resources and never become productive.
